This Website is an extention to a Project the BBW Model BabyJane (Sarah Rout) started on Facebook. The Project set out to bring together Women who wanted to Model but had been turned away or frowned upon because they didn't meet the requirements of the industry. At the time BabyJane set up a simple Group on Facebook called BBW Angels and was among a hand full of similar groups. The group quickly exploded and with her own passion for Modelling slowly getting noticed she asked her husband to be for help.

 

It was decided that with all the threats of profile bans and images being unfairly targeted for deletion Facebook was becoming a mine field for women trying to make an impact. So willing to put in the time and effort Tony and Sarah decided that a website would be a great way to go forward.

 

This site has been through many changes, seen women come and go for various reason. Yet it has still shown that it is growing and it's idea is still important. As it stands the site is about providing Larger Women a place where they can have a Profile to share on social media that cannot be targetted by Haters. The Profiles here are simple, effective and are supported 100% by the Women they represent.

Every profile can be changed, added to or even deleted with a simple message to Tony who is often on hand to make changes within hours. But this is just the start.

 

Tony has much bigger plans for the site such as expanding the site to include Profiles for Larger Men,pages that allow people to sell their own contents such as signed photos, videos, fan gear etc. He want's to gain and offer support for sites and industries all aiming toward the same thing, such as 'Bitns' (Big is the new Sexy) and 'FiB' (Fat is Beautiful) helping women to over come the mental barriers that social media continue to stick in front of larger people. But it's not all about promoting 'Bigger is Better' as the need to shine a light on health and social issues is also a key element Tony is aiming to approach, it's more about support and networking that telling the world what is Right and Wrong.
